Mick Georgiou Paint & Panel is a panel and paint shop on Norfolk Close in Tuncurry. We do the everyday work, the insurance repairs and the private jobs that come in off the street, and we do the slow work too: bare shells on the rotisserie, rust cut out, panels made straight again before a drop of colour goes near them.
Customers tend to mention the same two things. That the car came back faster than they expected, and that they knew what was happening the whole way through. That is not an accident. Full restoration work is our speciality. Shells stripped back, rust cut out, panels straightened and the whole lot resprayed properly. The kind of job that takes as long as it takes.
Vehicle painting
A licensed vehicle painter and a proper booth on site. Colour matched to the rest of the car, or a full change of colour if that is what you are after.
Boats
Not just cars. If the hull needs fairing and painting, or the tinnie has seen better days, it can come in the same as anything else on wheels.
Caravans
Caravan panel and paint work too, whether it is damage from the road or a tired old van that deserves another decade of trips.

The long jobs

Restoration is the part of this trade that does not pay by the hour and cannot be rushed. A shell comes in on a rotisserie with more rust than metal in places, and it goes out years younger than it arrived.
It is also the part we say we specialise in, and we mean it. If you have something sitting under a tarp that you have been meaning to get to, come and have a yarn about it.

Living where we do, half the district has a boat on the trailer and a van in the side yard. Both of them cop the sun, the salt and the odd scrape, and both of them come in here for the same panel and paint work a car would get.
